Terms and Conditions and House Rules

The guest agrees to be fully responsible for their own actions as well as the actions, conduct, and behaviour of any guest staying in their villa or invited by them to BASK. This includes, but is not limited to, any charges incurred, property damage, loss, or injury.

The guest further acknowledges and agrees that they are fully liable for all goods and services charged to their room, including any charges made by other persons staying with them or visiting them during their stay.

The guest further agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless PT BASK Gili Meno, its owners, staff, and affiliates, against any claim, damage, liability, cost, or injury, whether direct or indirect, that arises from their own conduct or the conduct of any guest staying with them or invited by them.

Use of Facilities

BASK’s facilities are provided for your enjoyment and must be used in a safe, respectful, and responsible manner.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, children under 12 years of age are kindly asked not to use the Beach Club Pool after 12:00 PM daily.

Each villa includes a private pool which we encourage families with children to use.

Please note:

  • There is no lifeguard on duty
  • Guests are entirely responsible for the supervision of children
  • This includes the use of swimming pools and entry into the ocean

By using these facilities, you acknowledge and agree that BASK accepts no responsibility or liability for such supervision and that all use is entirely at your own risk.

Right of Refusal or Termination

BASK reserves the right to immediately terminate accommodation or refuse service to any guest who:

  • Engages in illegal activity
  • Refuses to pay outstanding charges
  • Behaves in a disruptive, threatening, abusive, or damaging manner toward the property or other guests

Smoking inside any of our rooms will incur a 5,000,000 IDR cleaning fee and may result in termination of your reservation.

Such termination will be at the sole discretion of BASK Management and may result in eviction without refund.

Deposits, Pre-Authorisation and Charges

BASK reserves the right, at its discretion, to request a deposit prior to or during a guest’s stay in an amount equal to the estimated or anticipated food and beverage expenditure likely to be incurred.

This deposit may be:

  • Applied toward the final account balance
  • Retained against outstanding charges

Guests may also be required to provide a valid credit card for pre-authorisation at check-in.

By providing such card details, the guest authorises BASK to place a hold or charge amounts for:

  • Accommodation
  • Food and beverage
  • Damages or losses
  • Any other charges incurred during the stay
  • Charges incurred by any person staying with or visiting the guest

Any outstanding balance may be charged to the provided card without further notice.

Additional Services and Equipment

Food Taken Off-Premises

For health and safety reasons, once food or beverages are taken off the BASK premises, whether by the guest or on their behalf, BASK is no longer responsible for the condition, safety, or suitability for consumption of those items.

Third-Party Services

To enhance your experience, BASK staff may, at your request and with your agreement, assist in coordinating services provided by independent third-party operators.

These services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Diving tours
  • Fishing trips
  • Boat transfers
  • Helicopter transfers
  • Other off-site experiences

You acknowledge that these services are not operated or controlled by BASK, and participation is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

By selecting or participating in any third-party service, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless PT BASK Gili Meno from any claims, liabilities, accidents, losses, injuries, or damages arising from or in connection with such services.

Force Majeure

BASK shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance, or for a guest’s inability to travel to the property, due to events beyond its reasonable control.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • War
  • Civil unrest
  • Government restrictions
  • Airspace closure
  • Cancellation or disruption of flights or transportation

In such circumstances, all payments, including deposits and prepayments, shall remain non-refundable.

BASK may, at its sole discretion, offer alternative stay dates, credits, or rebooking options subject to availability.

Governing Law

This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, with the express exclusion of the laws of any other country.
