Cancellation Policy

Your Booking with BASK

We want you to have peace of mind when booking your stay at BASK Gili Meno. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all guests.

Standard Cancellation Terms

Cancellation 30+ days before arrival: Full refund of all payments, minus a 10% administrative fee.

Cancellation 15-29 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking amount will be retained. The remaining balance will be refunded.

Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: The full booking amount is non-refundable.

Force Majeure & Exceptional Circumstances

BASK shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance, or for a guest's inability to travel to the property, due to events beyond our reasonable control. These include war, civil unrest, government restrictions, airspace closure, flight cancellations, or transportation disruptions.

In such circumstances, all payments, including deposits and prepayments, shall remain non-refundable. However, BASK may, at its sole discretion, offer alternative stay dates, credits toward future bookings, or rebooking options subject to availability.

Deposits & Pre-Authorization

BASK reserves the right to request a deposit prior to or during your stay equal to the estimated food and beverage expenditure. This deposit may be applied toward your final account balance or retained against outstanding charges.

You may be required to provide a valid credit card for pre-authorization at check-in. By providing card details, you authorize BASK to place holds or charges for accommodation, food and beverage, damages, losses, or any other incurred charges during your stay.

Modifications to Your Booking

Date changes or modifications to your booking should be requested as soon as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Modified bookings will be subject to the cancellation policy based on the new dates.

Right of Refusal or Termination

BASK reserves the right to immediately terminate accommodation or refuse service to any guest who:

  • Engages in illegal activity
  • Refuses to pay outstanding charges
  • Behaves in a manner that is disruptive, threatening, abusive, or damaging to the property or other guests
  • Smokes inside rooms (which incurs a 5 million rupiah cleaning fee and reservation termination)

Such termination will be at BASK Management's sole discretion and may result in eviction without refund.

Guest Responsibility

The guest agrees to be fully responsible for their own actions and those of any guest of theirs staying at the villa or invited by them. This includes any charges incurred, property damage, loss, or injury.

You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless PT BASK Gili Meno, its owners, staff, and affiliates against any claim, damage, liability, cost, or injury arising from your conduct or the conduct of any guest of yours.

Third-Party Services & Activities

BASK may help coordinate services provided by independent third-party operators, including diving tours, fishing trips, boat transfers, and helicopter services. These services are not operated or controlled by BASK.

By selecting or participating in any third-party service, you acknowledge these are entirely at your own discretion and risk. You agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless PT BASK Gili Meno from any claims, liabilities, accidents, losses, injuries, or damages arising from such services.

This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, with the express exclusion of the laws of any other country.
