About the role
BASK Gili Meno is recruiting a Head Baker to lead the bakery and pastry section, producing breads, pastries, and viennoiserie for the resort's dining outlets and in-villa amenities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run the daily bake to cover all outlets.
- Lead and coach a small team of bakers and pastry assistants.
- Develop and refine the bread, pastry, and viennoiserie offer.
- Manage stock, ordering, and waste for the bakery section.
- Maintain food-safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Support menu launches and special-event production.
What we are looking for
- Prior experience leading a bakery or pastry section in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery.
- Strong technical skills across breads, viennoiserie, and pastry.
- Calm, organised, and good with early-morning starts.
- Right to work in Indonesia.
